Nearly time for Winter Bear Fest Kensington 2014.
Hip Hip Hooray! its nearly the weekend and time for the Winter Bear Fest at Kensington London. We are very much looking forward to the show as its always such a great teddy bear event. Hello I am a soft sculpture teddy bear artist/designer creating vintage looking teddy bears and animal characters. I love using antique fabrics and trimmings and spend many happy hours looking for these treasures! The Teddy Bears I make have the look of well loved and cherished companions.I use antique mohair and vintage plush I adore the look of early old antique bears from Germany and ours have all the same attributes of those traditional classic bears with long arms and spoon shaped paws,centre seam noses,boot button eyes and with a slight raised hump on the back.We are delighted that a large collection of our designs are on display at the wonderful spielzeug-welten-museum-Basel Switzerland and the Izu Museum Tokyo Japan I hope you enjoy my blog....thank you for visiting.
