He wears a vintage embroidered hand dyed waistcoat with tiny brass buttons. Grey silk pantaloons with vintage velvet slippers with brass buckles. Carries a posy of vintage for-get-me-nots. Hello I am a soft sculpture teddy bear artist/designer creating vintage looking teddy bears and animal characters. I love using antique fabrics and trimmings and spend many happy hours looking for these treasures! The Teddy Bears I make have the look of well loved and cherished companions.I use antique mohair and vintage plush I adore the look of early old antique bears from Germany and ours have all the same attributes of those traditional classic bears with long arms and spoon shaped paws,centre seam noses,boot button eyes and with a slight raised hump on the back.We are delighted that a large collection of our designs are on display at the wonderful spielzeug-welten-museum-Basel Switzerland and the Izu Museum Tokyo Japan I hope you enjoy my blog....thank you for visiting.
