Autumn & Halloween Collection

PAVO

Stands at 12" to top of head 15" to tip of tail or 30cm/38cm.

Art bird doll design based on another rare bird but related to a exotic golden peacock.

Pavo a constellation in the southern sky and means peacock.

Created from vintage plush with sculpted head,wings and tail feathers.

His head feathers are wired with antique gold threads his beak hand carved from lime wood.

He wears a vintage wool cape created from

Liberty of London Hera feather print in gorgeous autumn shades.

It fastens with a vintage half moon button and is trimmed with antique metal wire braid.

Liberty print highlights are used in his wired sculpted tail which is has antique sequins and cut steel beads. His tail which is fringed in antique gold threads can be arranged up or sweeping down.

Velvet shoes that are hand dyed and trimmed in silver metal wire motif and vintage beads.

ANDROMEDA

Stands at 4.5" or 11cm high created from hand dyed mohair in faded mauve.

Wears a vintage 1970's indian block print full boho skirt and waistcoat vest.

Her shoes are hand dyed velvet in indigo blue.

I created her outfit from an original vintage 70's indian block print dress that had seen better days.

These block print dresses are so beautiful and collectible.

 I commissioned a wonderful friend and fashion designer Laura Basevi to design

 and repurposed the dress into a gorgeous blouse for me. 

The offcuts have been used to make Andromeda's skirt and bolero.

I have used the silver bell chimes that were on the original dress.

PERSEUS

4.5" or 11cm high created from antique mohair in dark rust shade.

A traditional antique style teddy bear with glass eyes and stuffed with wood wool.

Perseus a northern sky constellation wears a vintage silver star charm.

SIRIUS

Stands 3.5"top of head 4.5" to tip of wizard hat. 9cm/11.5cm

Created from antique mohair in dark forest green.

Sirius named after a the brightest star in the sky and a certain wizard.

He wears a dark green velvet cape lined in paler green satin trimmed with antique gold wire trim.

Hand dyed sage green shoes and wizard hat with antique magical button.

HERMOINE

Stands 3.5" to top of head 4.5" to tip of hat. 9cm/11.5cm

Created from hand dyed mohair in burnt orange.

Hermoine wears antique lace with gold wire trim ball gown.

Her witchy hat is made from antique satin with vintage button and gold wire trim.

Shoes are antique silk velvet hand stitched with leather soles.

Hermoine a clever witch when it comes to making spells she comes with her own 

antique bog oak miniature cauldron.

3.25" or 8cm high and created from antique mohair in bright rust shade.

Hello and welcome to our  Faraway Seas Collection....

 stands 9" or 12cm high created from vintage mohair and wool in old white and black alpaca.

Bo is a Panda art sculpture design with a internal head sculpt with sculpted paw pads.

He wears a vintage silk satin long coat which is embroidered in beautiful oriental flowers with 

antique silver guilloche enamel broach.

Bo wears hand dyed sculpted velvet shoes in turquoise blue with antique black buttons.

SWALLOW

Swallow stands 6" or 15cm high created from vintage plush and airbrushed.

Swallow is a Bird art sculpture has a hand carved beak with sculpted wings and tail feather.

I have made a pink blush accent on the chest made from antique embroidery matching hand dyed ribbon.

Swallow wears antique blue silver lame embroidered shoes.

Comes with a spray of vintage for-get-me-not millinery flowers.

Please note: Simon has made new sculpts for the wings and tail so differing from Birdie & Robin previous bird designs we have created in this size.

MARIN

Marin stands 4.5"or 11cm high created from hand dyed mohair in cerulean blue.

He has a centre head seam.

Marin wears a striped mariners shirt in off white and pale blue with anchor motif.

Antique washed white linen trousers trimmed with antique mother of pearl tiny buttons.

His sculpted shoes are hand dyed aged cream velvet and hand stitched with leather soles.

Piper stands at 3.5"or 9cm high.Created from hand dyed mohair in aged honey gold.

He wears a antique sailor jacket and white trousers.

I used the fabric from a antique sailor collar and old sailors top.

Piper has navy blue velvet sculpted shoes made by Simon.

He brings with him a miniature aged ships wheel.

Lola stands at 3.5" or 9cm high.Created from hand dyed mohair in aged light brown.

She wears a Hawaiian hula girl costume with grass skirt and lei garland made from vintage flowers.

Lola has tiny leather and straw sandals trimmed with single flower.

Brings with her a tiny vintage shell basket and shells.

Reef is a very tiny bear at just 3"or 7.5 cm created from antique mohair in dark coral pink 

He is a miniature antique looking teddy bear in the traditional style with some age and wear to his fur.

Reef brings with him a vintage glass sea bird who is his very best friend.
