Old Blu

Old Blu

Old Blu is 7" high and created from vintage plush in pale sky blue.

I have further aged and tinted his fur in darker shades.

Old Blu is softly stuffed with wood wool which gives him a saggy tummy.

He is loosely jointed with a wobble neck joint.

Adorned with vintage ribbon and victorian Austrian tiny button.

Limited Edition one of a kind 1/1 ADOPTED

Nyle

Nyle

Nyle is 6.5" high and created from antique mohair in chalk white.

I have further aged and tinted his fur in places.He is loosely jointed and has a wobble neck joint.He is stuffed with wood wool and has crunchy feel to him.I have added some steel pellets for a little weight.

Nyle wears vintage linen sailor jacket in old white and palest blue.

I have trimmed the collar and cuffs with antique braid and added antique linen buttons and a french embroidered monogram with the letter N .

Tatiana

Tatiana

Tatiana is 5" tall created from german mohair in old gold.

I have aged and distressed her fur and further tinted with darker shades to give the appearance of an old bear.

Tatiana has a centre head seam with wobble neck joint and matt glass eyes.

Her dress is made from antique cotton embroidery anglais and is trimmed with pale pink vintage satin ribbon.

She wears a vintage summer floral head band which can be removed.

Old Pandy

Old Pandy is 4" high and created from vintage wool mohair and silk alpaca.

This cute panda design is inspired vintage 1950's toy panda's

with the shorter arms and legs.

Old Pandy has a wobble neck joint and is softly stuffed with rounded tummy.I have added a little steel shot for extra weight.

Lilou is 3.5" high and created from genuine antique mohair.

In shades of old gold and blush pink.

She has wobble neck joint and matt glass eyes.

Lilou is loosely jointed and has the appearance of a early antique bear.

Old Tommy is one of our tiniest bears at just 3" high.

He is created from genuine antique mohair in old gold

I have aged and tinted his fur to further age his appearance.

Old Tommy has a wobble neck and loose joints and is softly stuffed.

His saggy wrinkled tummy show signs of much love with his worn away fur.

EMMALINE

EMMALINE

Emmaline is 10" high and created from quality German mohair in a copper colour with a dark brown backing.She has a center seam head with a wobble neck joint with antique boot button eyes.

Emmaline has leather paw and foot pads which are airbrushed and aged.

Her cotton dress is made from vintage fabrics in a soft linen and blue spotted cotton.

I have trimmed the collar with vintage blue ric rac trim and cotton scalloped edged lace.I also have added some antique pearl buttons and tiny mother of pearl belt buckle.

BERTRAM

Bertram is 10" high and created from quality German mohair in a taupe colour with a dark brown backing.

I further aged his fur to give the appearance of an very old bear.I have given him a long centre seam and pronounced long nose with antique boot button eyes.He is stuffed with traditional wood wool and has a little sagging to his tummy.I have added some steel shot to add a little weight to him.Bertram is wearing a genuine antique gentleman's collar with pearl stud fastening.This can be removed if required.

SWEET VIOLETTE

Sweet Violette is 7" high created from antique mohair in soft white.She has a wobble neck joint and matte glass eyes.I have stitched her nose with a vintage embroidery thread in a faded rose pink.

She is stuffed with wood wool and is very saggy and has the feel of a old bear with loose joints.

Sweet Violette sits in a vintage straw basket with antique good wishes post card and a bouquet of vintage velvet violets.She wears a silk ribbon in deep purple.

BABY BONZO

Baby Bonzo is 6" high created from antique velvet in old dark cream and faded black.

We have made a new sculpt for his face and paw pads,these are hand sculpted and pressed using our own metal molds.His face is hand shaded and tinted.

We have made Baby Bonzo in a very old vintage velvet and used vintage leather for his paws.

We have also used vintage hand blown glass eyes to give this pup this real old toy look.

Baby Bonzo has wired ears and tail and is softly stuffed with a sagging wrinkled tummy.

He wears a vintage bell and pale blue ribbon and sits in a little Easter basket trimmed with flowers.

PASCAL

PASCAL

Pascal is 3.5"high and created from vintage mohair in a old cream.

I have further aged his fur to give him an old bear appearance.

He has matt glass eyes and wobble neck joint.

Pascal is stuffed with wood wool with some steel shot added for a little extra weight.

COCO

Coco is 3.5" high and created from vintage plush in chocolate brown.

She has a shiny glass eyes and wobble neck joint.She wears antique cotton linen and lace dress.

I have added a tiny embroidery flower and lemon velvet sash with diamente.

Her shoes are sculpted by our selves in our studio and are handstitched and made from vintage leather.

Coco carries a small bouquet of velvet for-get-me-nots.

Sweet Lilac is 3.5" high and created from antique mohair which I have hand dyed a lilac pink.

Her fur is aged and has sparce pile.

She has a wobble neck joint with matt glass eyes and dark grey stitched nose.

Sweet Lilac has antique linen paw and foot pads which i have aged and tinted.

BIBBITY BUNNY

BIBBITY BUNNY

Bibbity Bunny is 4" high to tip of his ears.He is created from hand dyed baby blue mohair.

He has a wobble neck joint,pale blue German glass eyes.He has wired silk velvet lined ears.I have tinted and aged his fur to give him a vintage look.

Bibbity Bunny wears our trade mark vintage leather shoes hand made in our studio.

He carries a posy of vintage spring flowers and wears a silk pink ribbon.ADOPTED

Hello I am a soft sculpture teddy bear artist/designer creating vintage looking teddy bears and animal characters. I love using antique fabrics and trimmings and spend many happy hours looking for these treasures! The Teddy Bears I make have the look of well loved and cherished companions.I use antique mohair and vintage plush I adore the look of early old antique bears from Germany and ours have all the same attributes of those traditional classic bears with long arms and spoon shaped paws,centre seam noses,boot button eyes and with a slight raised hump on the back.We are delighted that a large collection of our designs are on display at the wonderful spielzeug-welten-museum-Basel Switzerland and the Izu Museum Tokyo Japan I hope you enjoy my blog....thank you for visiting.
